The Association has provided a template for an AAUW news release, and I’ve localized it with a bit of NC information. It is a Microsoft Word document. If you need it in another format, please let me know.
This is a format that will be good for insertion in press kits and faxing to media outlets. Remember that you can also use the Association’s online media guide if you want to post a quick e-mail announcement to the press. Even then, though, consider adding the boilerplate paragraph about AAUW and AAUW NC to your release.
