The Fall Leadership Conference will Open the Gates for AAUWNC to begin Expanding a Legacy of Leadership. Mary Peterson, Public Policy Chair, has developed a format for a Women’s Agenda Assembly. The Statesville Branch has invited sponsors to attend (Iredell County Democratic Women, Altrusa International, WHEEL (an association of Afro-American women), Career Women, and Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce). Thank you to NC Women United for their Draft Women’s Agenda.
The State Convention in Winston-Salem, April 20, 21, 22 is going to be exciting. We will have our RD Leslie Henderson and a L2L Ann Gustafson, AAUW Membership Committee Chair. We will expand on having c/u representatives and membership strategies for expanding our growth. Our speakers and workshops are being firmed up at this time. Our theme is Open the Gates-Mission in Action. We will have action!

The AAUWNC Blog is fantastic for ideas and information for programming. We are very fortunate to have this feature at our fingertips. Also, AAUW.org has a wealth of information and easy to download. Explore these AAUW assets.
