From the Fall/Winter 2006 Research & Action Reportof the Wellesley Centers for Women:
FairerScience.org is the newly launched website for the WCW project of the same name. …[T]his is one of two WCW projects funded by the National Science Foundation that focuses on gender and science. The website contains a variety of materials for researchers, advocates, and the media. .. The overall goals of FairerScience are to help researchers in gender and the sciences better communicate their work to the media, policy makers, and advocates while helping media to better understand issues of gender and science, technology, enginnering, and mathematics (STEM).
