The Women’s Resource Center of Alamance County sponsors a monthly luncheon: Working Women Wednesdays. If you’re planning to be near Burlington on the fourth Wednesday of the month, do check www.wrcac.org for the schedule.
Individual member Becky Mock has been instrumental in planning this series which draws about 100 women each month. The series is now in its fourth year.
Individual tickets are available by contacting the WRC at 336-227-6900. Prepaid reservations are required to attend WWW and must be made by the Friday preceding the luncheon date. Cost: WRC members $20 / Non-members $25. Payment accepted by cash, check or credit card.

- Feb. 28 – Judy Van Wuyckhuyse, owner of VanTel Communications, to share why “Talk is Cheap, but Service is Pricelessâ€.
- March 28 – Attorney Angela Newell Gray, a partner in the firm Gray, Newell, Johnson & Blackmon, in Winston-Salem, focuses primarily on the issue of discrimination and will discuss “Unwelcome Attention: Sexual Harassment & the Lawâ€
