Thanks to Marty Folsom for doing the work to get AAUW NC a bulk mail nonprofit rate authorization. Karla Atkinson, secretary, has the original form and Nancy, Marty and Karla have the information required to post a mailing using this permit.
We plan to use this to communicate with members-at-large (they will no longer receive every issue of the Tar Heel News) and may do special mailings to branch/state officers. If have information for AAUW NC that you’d like to distribute in this way, please contact a member of the AAUW NC leadership team. As always, the release of members’ addresses is subject to our policies and review of the executive committee, and we expect to use this only in rare circumstances.
There are restrictions on the use of the permit:
- Mailing must consist of at least 200 identical pieces
- The AAUW NC address (AAUW NC, PO Box 6502, Statesville, NC 28687-6502) must be used for the return address.
- The mailing service you choose will need a copy of the authorization letter (see Karla or Nancy) and a completed USPS form 3623.
