Jacksonville Regional Branch November/December 2010 Newsletter

President’s Message –

Greetings! Our October program on caregiving was excelllent. Our presenter, Karen Woodrum, spoke from both the personal and the professional sides of the topic. She had some excellent lists and handouts. Thank you, Connie, for recommending her as a speaker. And thanks to Chris Almeida for hosting the meeting.

Our annual Silent Auction and holiday party are next week (Sunday, November 14th – see details below). Please bring items for the auction and an appetizer to share. Joanne Hill suggested having a Tastefully Simple consultant at the party. Ester Johnson will be on hand with a few samples of some of the newest products and to take your orders. This will be a wonderful opportunity for you to stock up on supplies for holiday entertaining or gifting.

As always, guests are welcome. Be sure to let them know that the proceeds from the silent auction will go toward the fund for our scholarship at Coastal Carolina Community College. As president of the Onslow County Council for Women (OCCW), Connie will be extending an invitation to their members as well.

Looking forward to seeing you! – JoAnn
