President’s Message
Greetings! This newsletter will be short and sweet. This year we are partnering with the Onslow County Council for Women in a booth at the Oktoberfest on October 22 in downtown Jacksonville. Because our concerns for women are similar, we will be handing out information about Onslow County and what is available to women and their families. Be sure to stop by to say “hi” if you are in the area. The O’fest is always a good time and the food is great.
Due to this commitment, we will not have a regular meeting in October. Instead, we will meet next month at our annual Holiday Party/Silent Auction. Start cleaning out your attic, closets and basement for new or gently used white elephants to auction off. The date will be Sunday, November 20th. Further details will be in the November newsletter.
