Every two years the national AAUW makes changes to their bylaws and instructs the branches and states about mandated changes to the local bylaws. This year, they also provided a model document that added guidance to the amendment process.
The AAUW NC bylaws have been updated to comply with these directives and to follow the new model. No vote of the membership was required. You can find the new version here:
