AAUW has streamlined the process for mandating changes to the bylaws of their affiliates.*
AAUW NC’s new bylaws with the required changes to be in compliance with AAUW are posted in the Documents section of this website.
Any changes to the bylaws to be voted on at the 2017 annual meeting should be noticed to the membership by the end of February.
*All branches and state organizations are “affiliates” of AAUW. The old national bylaws had special sections for “branches” and “states” but there are now new kinds of affiliates such as Younger Women’s Task Forces.
