AAUW NC will vote on a resolution expressing its opposition to the amendment that will be on the NC primary ballot in May.
We know that there are many AAUW issues at stake in the 2012 elections. AAUW at the national level is taking the lead in get out the vote efforts — with HERVotes and the new AAUW Action Fund campaign. AAUW NC is also participating in a state-wide coalition and a networking event in Raleigh to help advance the message of the importance of women’s votes.
AAUW NC is recruiting the leaders it will need for the 2012-2013 AAUW year. There are many ways to help AAUW NC break through barriers for women and girls! Is this the year you take the time to share your skills with the members across the state?

As we move into 2012, AAUW of North Carolina has launched its Public Policy Pilot Project to engage its network of members to keep all the members and friends of AAUW NC up to date on issues of concern in the NC legislature and Congress.
