$tart $mart Kickoff in North Carolina
On May 19, Annie Houle from the WAGE Project trained seven North Carolina women to be $tart $mart trainers/facilitators.

Grants to the branches for travel to St. Louis
At the AAUW NC Convention in Wilmington, a decision was made to offer $250 from the state funds to each branch to help defray the cost of expenses of branch delegates for the Convention in St. Louis in June.
AAUW Tar Heel Branch at Convention
The AAUW Tar Heel branch has posted some pictures from convention on their web site.
They also had a handout about why members of other branches might want to join the Tar Heel Branch.
